I enjoy this peach milk for a refreshing drink any time of year. I blend fresh peaches with creamy milk to make a naturally sweet and satisfying treat. It uses just 4 ingredients, can easily be made vegan, is family-friendly, and is a simple way to enjoy a fruity sweet drink.

Peach milk drink served in a glass with a straw, garnished with fresh peaches.

Milk and peaches are a perfect match in my opinion! I love how creamy and sweet homemade peach milk tastes, similar to banana peach smoothie and peach boba tea, but without all the extra ingredients. It is simple, easy, and full of rich peach flavor.

This peach milk drink is inspired by Korean fruit milk and Japanese-style recipes like the Korean peach milk, vegan strawberry milk, and Japanese mixed fruit milk. I made mine a bit healthier by reducing the sugar and including vegan-friendly options. I use fresh peaches in the summer and frozen peaches in the winter. 🙂

I love this peach milk recipe as it is simple, naturally sweet, and full of nutrients from fresh peaches and milk. One afternoon, after my kids were playing outside with their friends, I made a batch and watched them eagerly pour themselves a glass. Even my picky eaters drank it without complaint, and the other kids kept asking for seconds, which made me happy as a nutritionist.

Blending the peeled, ripe peaches first gives me a smooth and creamy base before adding the milk and a touch of vanilla. I love that I can easily make a batch that works for any season or occasion, whether I use fresh peaches in summer or frozen in winter. Cero excuses here!

This is the best peach milk I have shared with friends, neighbors, and my family. I offered this after a neighborhood cleanup, and everyone enjoyed the fresh flavor and smooth consistency. Try this recipe today and enjoy a yummy and refreshing peach milk. 🙂

🥘 Ingredients

To make this healthy peach drink I only need 4 ingredients. Here is what I use:

Ingredients for easy peach milk recipe on a white background.

Sliced Peaches: I like to use fresh ripe peaches for this copycat Korean peach drink, but frozen or canned peaches work too. When I use fresh peaches, I always remove the skin and the seed.

Sugar: I use any type of sugar I have on hand, such as cane sugar, coconut sugar, or brown sugar. I sometimes use honey or maple syrup, but those change the flavor slightly. Sugar gives this peaches and cream milk a sweeter, dessert-like taste, though I skip it if I want a lighter sweetness.

Vanilla extract: I add a small amount of vanilla extract because it brings all the flavors together and adds a warm, subtle note.

Milk: Milk is the base of this peach drink and makes it creamy and smooth. I use whole milk most of the time, but low-fat, skim, or plant-based milk also works depending on what I have available.

🔪 How To Make

These are the instructions that I follow to make this delicious peach milk.

Blend Peach Mixture: I add the sliced peaches, sugar, and vanilla extract to a high-speed food processor and blend until smooth.

Peaches and milk combined in a blender.

Make Peach Puree: I transfer the homemade peach sauce to a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. Then I lower the heat to medium or low and let it simmer for 1 to 2 minutes.

Peach puree being poured into a pot on the stove.

Cool Puree: I remove it from the heat and let it cool for 15 minutes before placing it in the fridge to chill completely.

Homemade peach syrup cooking on the stove.

Combine Homemade Peach Syrup With Milk: When chilled, I add the peach puree and milk to a blender and blend until everything is well combined.

Taste And Serve: I adjust the sweetness to taste and add more sugar if needed, although I usually do not need to. I serve these peaches and cream moon milk immediately.

My #1 Secret Tip for this peach milk recipe is to blend thoroughly. I use high speed until the mixture is completely smooth. This makes sure there are no chunks and gives a creamy, consistent texture every time.

Other Tips To Keep In Mind:

  • Use ripe peaches: I always pick peaches that are soft and fragrant. They blend easier and give a sweeter, fuller flavor.
  • Peel the peaches: I peel the skin to avoid any bitterness or grainy texture. This makes the milk smoother and more pleasant to drink.
  • Adjust milk gradually: I start with less milk and add more while blending. This helps me control the thickness and avoid making it too thin.
  • Chill before serving: I refrigerate the peach milk for at least 1 hour before drinking. This lets the flavors meld and makes it refreshing.

📖 Variations

Here are a few simple variations I use to change the flavor while keeping the recipe easy and flexible.

Strawberry Peach Milk: I add 1/2 cup fresh strawberries while blending with the peaches and milk. The strawberries brighten the flavor and make the drink naturally sweeter.

Honey Sweetened Milk: I blend in 1 to 2 teaspoons of raw honey depending on the sweetness of the peaches. This adds gentle sweetness without overpowering the fruit.

Protein Peach Milk: I add 1 scoop of unflavored or vanilla protein powder while blending. I also increase the milk by 1/4 cup to keep the texture smooth.

🍽 Serving Suggestions

I like serving my peach milk with breakfast foods that carry fruit or grain flavors because the creamy fruit drink adds sweetness without heavy richness. I pour a glass alongside peach overnight oats, which brings peaches into a hearty, oat-packed morning bowl, and banana peach smoothie, which reinforces the peach theme and keeps drinks light and refreshing. These pairings work because the textures vary from creamy drink to chewy oats and smooth smoothie, giving a balanced start to the day.

For afternoon snacks or dessert, my kids like to pair my peach milk with baked goods that have complementary fruit notes. A slice of peach cobbler pound cake tastes great with the peach-infused milk because the cake’s sweet crumb contrasts with the cool drink, and vegan peach cobbler brings a warm fruit dessert element that echoes the peaches in the drink. These combinations work well because the baked peach elements deepen the fruit profile while keeping the whole pairing simple and cohesive.

🧊 Storage Directions

Peach moon milk doesn’t store well, so only make the servings you’ll need to enjoy this drink immediately.

❓Recipe FAQs

Why did my peach milk turn thin or watery?

When peach milk turns thin, it is usually because the peaches were not ripe enough or the liquid ratio was too high. I learned this after using firm peaches that looked good on the outside but lacked natural sugars and flesh softness. Ripe peaches release more body and flavor when blended. I fix this by choosing peaches that are fragrant and give slightly when pressed. I also start with less milk, blend everything fully, then add more milk slowly until I reach a creamy consistency. Blending longer helps break down the fruit fibers, which also improves thickness.

What type of peaches and milk work best for peach milk?

The best peach milk comes from ripe yellow peaches paired with a creamy milk of choice. I prefer yellow peaches because they have deeper flavor and natural sweetness compared to white peaches, which can taste mild once blended. For the milk, whole dairy milk gives the richest result, but oat milk and almond milk also work well if they are unsweetened and not too thin. I avoid heavily flavored or vanilla-added milks because they overpower the peach.

How do I make peach milk smooth without pulp or separation?

Smooth peach milk depends on peeling the peaches, blending thoroughly, and straining if needed. Peach skins can add bitterness and grainy texture, so I always peel them first. I blend the peaches alone at high speed until completely smooth before adding milk. If the peaches are very fibrous, I strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve, pressing gently with a spoon.

  1. Can you also make this without simmering the blended peaches? I’m definitely eager to try this either way!5 stars

    • Hi Lumi! I suppose you could, but you wouldn’t get as rich of a flavor in the milk. Simmering the blended peaches helps to reduce them, make them less watery, and taste more sweet – so I would recommend simmering them if you are able to! Hope that helps!

  2. My daughter is a huge fan of fruit so I decided to make this with her. SHE LOVED IT! Sounds like I’m going to be going back to the store again today to buy more peaches. Thank you so much for a delicious recipe!5 stars
