Add the beetroot powder, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla extract and coconut sugar in a small bowl, along with 4 tbsp of almond milk. Stir to form a paste.
Add the paste and remaining almond milk to a small pot and whisk until smooth.
Bring to a boil.
Pour into 2 mugs and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
- My #1 Secret Tip for this recipe is to dissolve the beetroot powder by heating it in milk. I like using the microwave for this, but I make sure to watch it closely so it doesn’t boil over.
- Natural Sweeteners: For a natural sweetener, I use medjool dates, date paste or syrup, maple syrup, or coconut sugar.
- Extra Protein: For an extra boost of protein, I add 1 tablespoon of collagen powder to my beetroot latte.
- Frothed Milk: If I like frothed milk, I use a handheld milk frother. For really frothy milk, I find dairy milk works best.
- Beetroot Powder Benefits: I love that beetroot powder has the same health benefits as raw beets.
