Heat the milk and vanilla extract over a medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
Meanwhile prepare the espresso shot.
Add the honey to the hot coffee and stir until melted.
Remove the heated milk and froth using a milk frother.
Pour the milk into the espresso, top with milk froth and sprinkle with cinnamon if using.
Serve and enjoy immediately.
- My #1 Secret Tip for this recipe is to froth the milk really well. When I do not have my frother nearby, I use an immersion blender or a handheld whisk, and sometimes I pour the hot milk into a blender and blend it until it becomes light and frothy.
- Allergy Benefits: If I’m dealing with seasonal allergies, I use a local honey because it can help provide some relief. It’s an extra win on top of this tasty coffee drink!
- Adjust Sweetness: If I’m in the mood for something sweet, I add an extra tablespoon of honey. If I want to keep it lighter, I just drizzle a little on top of my oat milk latte.
- For 2 Drinks: If I want to make 2 honey cinnamon oat milk lattes, I simply double the recipe and brew two espresso shots.
