  • Heat the milk and vanilla extract over a medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
  • Meanwhile prepare the espresso shot.
  • Add the honey to the hot coffee and stir until melted.
  • Remove the heated milk and froth using a milk frother.
  • Pour the milk into the espresso, top with milk froth and sprinkle with cinnamon if using.
  • Serve and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • My #1 Secret Tip for this recipe is to froth the milk really well. When I do not have my frother nearby, I use an immersion blender or a handheld whisk, and sometimes I pour the hot milk into a blender and blend it until it becomes light and frothy.
  • Allergy Benefits: If I’m dealing with seasonal allergies, I use a local honey because it can help provide some relief. It’s an extra win on top of this tasty coffee drink!
  • Adjust Sweetness: If I’m in the mood for something sweet, I add an extra tablespoon of honey. If I want to keep it lighter, I just drizzle a little on top of my oat milk latte.
  • For 2 Drinks: If I want to make 2 honey cinnamon oat milk lattes, I simply double the recipe and brew two espresso shots.
