Blueberry Pineapple Smoothie

This blueberry pineapple smoothie is full of healthy benefits and ready in just 5 minutes! I love that it packs an antioxidant punch from the frozen wild blueberries and spinach, gets natural sweetness from the bananas and pineapple, and includes added protein from plain Greek yogurt. This delicious smoothie is super easy, satisfying, and my kids love it too.

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Notes

  • My #1 Secret Tip for this recipe is to drink the pineapple blueberry spinach smoothie as soon as I make it. Freshly blended smoothies have the best texture and flavor right away, before the fruit settles and the greens start to break down, so everything tastes bright and smooth instead of watery or grainy.
  • Fresh or Frozen Fruit: I use either fresh or frozen fruit, but frozen is great for convenience and helps make the smoothie extra cold and thick.
  • Blender Recommendation: I always use a high-powered blender for this smoothie. I absolutely love my Vitamix, but I’ve heard that this blender by CleanBlend is comparable and more affordable.
  • Vegan Option: To make this smoothie vegan, use a vegan protein powder instead of Greek Yogurt, and swap out the milk for coconut or almond milk (make sure to get the unsweetened variety with no carrageenan).
