  • Cut the leaves off the top of the strawberries in an even line.
  • Stack one strawberry on top of a banana slice, then stick a sucker stick through the bottom to hold them in place.
  • Top each strawberry with a small dollop of whipped cream.

Top Tips for Making Strawberry Santa Hats
  • Use fresh ripe strawberries. Try to find strawberries that are uniform in size. I prefer organic.
  • Use ripe bananas. With this recipe you want bananas that are ripe, but that have not started to brown. If they are too ripe they are less firm, and difficult to work with.
  • If you don't have sucker sticks, you can use wooden skewers.
