Naan bread pizza is a simple yet delicious take on pizza night! Just spread marinara on naan bread, sprinkle with your favorite toppings, and bake until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly! Ready to eat in less than 15 minutes!

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F / 176 C.
  • Lay the naan bread on the baking tray and spread each with marinara sauce.
  • Sprinkle with oregano and top with fresh basil and mozzarella cheese.
  • Cook in the oven for 15 minutes.

Notes

  • For an extra crispy crust, pre-bake the naan for 3 to 4 minutes directly on the oven grates. Reduce the cooking time once you add the toppings since it will need less time to fully cook.
  • For meal prep: You can freeze store-bought naan so you always have it on hand!
  • Don't use too much sauce. A thin even layer that coats the naan works perfectly.
  • Make it healthier: You can make this easy recipe even healthier by using a whole wheat naan bread or whole wheat pita bread as the pizza base instead of regular naan.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Never reheat pizza in the microwave or it will get greasy, soggy, and chewy. Instead, reheat in a 350 degree preheated oven until warmed throughout.
  • You can bake your naan on a pizza stone. To use a pizza stone instead of a baking sheet, preheat your oven with the pizza stone in it. Then, assemble these easy naan pizzas on a pizza peel, and transfer to the pizza stone before baking 10-15 minutes until the crust is crispy and slightly golden.
  • Other pizza topping options: basil pesto, goats cheese and mushroom, mixed vegetables, artichoke, spinach and red onion or roasted pumpkin and feta.
