Line an 8×8 baking dish or tray with parchment paper and set aside. Place the crispy rice cereal into a large mixing bowl and set the cereal mixture aside.
Add the maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla, and cashew butter into a small pot over medium heat and bring to a boil. Stir constantly until everything is melted.
Pour the melted ingredients into the crispy rice cereal and stir well with a spatula or wooden spoon.
For best results, stir gently so as not to crush the cereal, but scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl with your spatula to make sure everything is well incorporated.
Spread the sticky rice krispie cereal mixture into the prepared baking pan in an even layer. Smooth the top, cover with plastic wrap if you like, and then place in the refrigerator to chill. This will make it easier to cut.
