Ingredients

Melt vegan butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour, stir and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Make the classic  roux

Heat the milk in a microwave-safe container until warm Whisk the warm milk into the flour mixture

 Add Milk

Continue to cook, stirring with a wooden spoon or whisk until the sauce thickens

Continue to Cook

Remove from the heat and season with salt and pepper, whisk to combine and Serve

 Serve!

👉  Don’t forget to keep whisking the roux as it cooks to help make your sauce super creamy!
