Combine milk, water and rinsed quinoa in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed.
Stir in berries, bananas, nuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a little honey or other sweetener if desired. Transfer to bowls, top with nuts, additional milk if needed, and drizzle 1 teaspoon honey over each serving.
