Preheat Oven & Cream Butter:Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. In the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, cream the softened butter and sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy.
Scoop Dough: Using a tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop out pieces of dough and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, press them down, and add plenty of chocolate chips to the top of each cookie.
