How to make Florentine Pizza


Heat oven temperature to 356F/180C. Combine the dry ingredients In a small bowl, whisk all the dry ingredients together until well combined.


Make the dough. Add the olive oil and water to the flour mixture.


Knead the dough. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 2-3 minutes until the dough is smooth.


Rest. Allow the ball of dough to rest for 10 minutes.


Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the crushed garlic for 1-2 minutes, making sure not to burn the garlic. Toss the spinach leaves and Italian herbs through the garlic until the leaves are wilted


Remove the pan from the heat and set it aside to allow the spinach mixture to cool. Roll out the dough between 2 sheets of baking paper, forming one large rectangle shape about 1/2 inch thick.


Place pizza crust onto a large oven tray. Position oven rack in the center of the oven. Bake for 5 minutes.
