Easy Vegan Nutella Recipe

This homemade vegan Nutella recipe is a game-changer for all the chocolate hazelnut spread lovers out there.

Made with simple ingredients like raw hazelnuts, dark chocolate, and a touch of maple syrup, it’s a healthier alternative to traditional Nutella, without any added sugar or artificial flavors.

INGREDIENTS

ROAST HAZELNUTS:

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spread the hazelnuts in a single layer on a baking sheet, and roast for 15 minutes.

BLEND INTO HAZELNUT BUTTER:

Remove from the oven, and place hazelnuts into a food processor or high-speed blender. Blitz for a few minutes, until you have thick and creamy nut butter.

ADD MELTED CHOCOLATE:

While the nuts are processing, break the chocolate into small pieces and melt with the coconut oil.

ADD REST OF INGREDIENTS: 

Add the remaining ingredients including the coconut oil, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend for another couple of minutes, until you have a creamy hazelnut butter.

BLEND & FINISH:

When finished, this hazelnut vegan chocolate spread recipe will have a thick, almond butter or peanut butter-like consistency.
