Sourdough Croissants

My homemade sourdough croissants are so much better than bakery ones.

Whether you’re looking to level up your breakfast or add an extra flair to sandwiches, your whole family will fall in love with these croissants!

INGREDIENTS

Knead The Dough:

To begin, put all dough ingredients into the bowl of a stand mixer with a dough whisk or dough hook attachment.

Once made, transfer the dough to a lightly greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 1 hour at room temperature.

Rest For 1 Hour:

Fold The Dough:

After an hour, place the dough onto an unfloured surface and gently press it into a circle.

The next morning, prepare the room-temperature butter for lamination.

Prepare Butter For Lamination:

Using a rolling pin, flatten the butter to form a square.
