Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F / 200 C. Line a muffin tin with muffin cups and set aside. In a large bowl, combine the flour, wheat bran, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Stir in the raisins.
In a medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients.
Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture, then stir to combine.
Spoon batter into the muffin pan and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes then transfer to a wire rack. Serve with a smear of butter!
