Caramelized Bananas

Super easy caramelized bananas are a warm, cozy, indulgent treat. They’re absolutely delicious on their own, but also taste amazing paired with ice cream, pancakes, waffles, cake, oatmeal, french toast, frozen yogurt, and more!

Easy To Make: With minimal ingredients and only a few simple steps, these brown sugar bananas are a convenient and easy dessert.

Melt butter in a large skillet or nonstick pan over medium heat. Sprinkle in the brown sugar. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a boil.

MELT BUTTER, ADD SUGAR:

Pour in the heavy cream and add the cinnamon and salt. Stir to bring the sauce together.

ADD CREAM, CINNAMON, & SALT:

While the sauce is simmering, add the banana slices to the skillet in a single layer.

ADD BANANAS:

Cook for 2-3 minutes and then flip the sliced bananas over to cook for another 2-3 minutes, until golden brown. Stir while cooking to prevent the sauce and bananas from burning.

COOK BANANAS:

Serve the caramelized bananas on their own, with vanilla ice cream.
